CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics, and it is an advanced technology that enables dentists to design, mill, and place high-quality ceramic restorations in a single visit. Using a special digital scanner, your dentist will take a 3D image of your tooth and upload it to the CEREC computer system. From there, the computer software will generate a precise virtual model of your tooth and create a custom restoration design. During this efficient and highly reliable process, we are able to acquire a 3-D image of your tooth for the precise design of your restoration and create the restoration in-house.
